Congratulations to Deborah Lekan, MSN. RNC, CCCN for receiving the 2008 Attention to Detail. Attention to Life. Continence Care Leadership Award.
This award recognizes a WOCN member who makes significant and outstanding contributions to urinary and fecal continence care. Deborah received a $2,500 award, plus travel expenses to attend the WOCN awards ceremony at the Annual Conference in Orlando. She has a long history of distinguished leadership in the area of incontinence and has made consistent contributions to implementing evidence based nursing care, the development of innovative teaching methods and original research that has helped to identify barriers to routine implementation of evidence-based practices to promote continence care.
This award is made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Hollister Incorporated.
