Understand the Various Presentation Formats
The WOCNext Poster Hall fosters an environment of inclusivity where voices from around the world collaborate and exchange knowledge. By exclusively featuring non-CE posters, barriers are minimized, and a diverse range of authors are given the opportunity to share their important work. Eliminating the division between CE and non-CE sections maximizes authors’ visibility and engagement, while simultaneously simplifying the disclosure process.
ePoster
- All accepted abstracts will be presented in digital ePoster format. Authors can elect to also present their work as a Paper Poster.
- There will be a specific time provided for in-person authors to interact with attendees. If an author chooses to attend in person and elects to present their work as an ePoster, they will share a monitor with several other authors.
- ePosters will be available to view online for a few weeks before and after the conference
Paper Poster
- In addition to the ePoster format, at the time of poster acceptance, authors will have the opportunity to elect to display their work in a traditional paper poster format.
- Paper Posters are displayed on large boards along multiple aisles.
- Authors will be made aware of specific information about the layout, including a tutorial on poster layout/development.
Oral Presentations
- If your abstract is chosen for oral presentation, only the primary author will make the presentation.
- Time for oral presentations will vary and will be communicated to authors well in advance of the date of the presentation.
- Authors selected for oral sessions will complete a more robust disclosure process.
Published in a Peer-Reviewed Journal
- In addition to being displayed at WOCNext, authors will have their abstracts published in the renowned internationally evidence-based and peer-reviewed Journal of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (JWOCN®). The JWOCN is the official journal of the WOCN Society and is the premier publication for wound, ostomy, continence practice, and research.
