About the Speaker:
Nicolien Wilder, BSN, RN, CWCN, CFCN, has been a nurse since 1986, mostly working in different acute rehabilitation hospitals as a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse. She has also managed a skin and wound care program as a Certified Wound Care Nurse in this setting. She experienced first-hand the rise of seniors who needed foot care services. She saw how the effects of improper foot care can lead to increased pain and discomfort with walking, lower extremity infections, and even amputations. Nicolien became certified as a Foot and Nail Care Nurse in 2014. In 2022, Nicolien started Heart and Sole Foot and Nail Care to offer medical routine foot care to seniors at home.
