About the Speaker:
Kristin Smith, MSN, RN, CWCN, CNML, has been in wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen for over 15 years. Kristin started as a staff nurse in the Hyperbaric, Wound Care Clinic in Houston, Texas. She was an ICU/ED nurse before she started her journey in wound care. She has taken the 40-hour Hyperbaric team training as well as the Safety Director course. Kristin was previously the manager of the Memorial Hermann Center for Hyperbaric and Wound Care for over seven years. Kristin is now the manager of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia, where she oversees two wound and Hyperbaric centers and inpatient wound care for five acute care hospitals including a level trauma center.
